The Rules

It’s so interesting how everything has rules even when we try to say we are not adhering to the ones setup. We typically are still playing by some kind of a rule that was set up through conditioning or environment. Like I can’t lie I have been married and I literally hated every minute of it. But because the status quo tells us it’s so great and it’s a romantic adventure shared between two people who love each other humans are literally sold on this idea of being with this someone forever.

The rules of bills and living and eating and maintaining a certain level of respect from others. The rules of being kind and just being social whew 😅 my hair has rules lol!!!

IG has rules , the way I wear my clothes has rules!!

So no wonder in the space of someone you care for and in the space of just being you , you just want to be free.

New Age Dating : Texting , Tinder WTF

I recently read somewhere that a guy is Not invested in deepening the connection between you if he  only texts you and doesn't initiate calls or plans to meet up in person, it's a strong indication that he might not be as interested in you as someone he wants to pursue seriously; while texting can be a way to connect, a lack of effort to   move beyond texting could be a lack of genuine interest.  I have found that nothing ever really evolves from a text relationship for most people, however how interesting is it that a friend of mines met someone online and they are now about to get married . The real question is how can you really tell if a person is being truly sincere with only texting and online only communicating?  In general  Texting is a low-effort way to communicate, so if he only texts, he might be comfortable keeping you at a distance without actively pursuing you.  A guy or girl who wants to get to know you better will likely want to have ...

The Battle of what you know vs what you feel ...

It's so funny the many challenges that we have in life on a daily basis.  As soon as one thing is over here comes another thing.  As soon as we figure something out there is always another problem to solve.  With that being said are the problems really even problems? Sometimes it is the choices we made that just resulted in problems.   As we go through life we begin to realize our choices are led by our hearts or our brains.  Most of the time the emotional pull of situations lead us to make choices with our hearts.  However, those choices we make with our brains they keep us from a lot of heartbreak and a lot of wasted time.  Time.... isn't it the golden ticket?  Its literally the one thing we always wish we had more of and its literally the one thing that people and yourself included waste on the most stupid trivial shit.  And sometimes that time isn't really wasted of course its the epic learning experiences that we all must go through...

The Disrespectful Art of Asking me to Forget

In the recent movie Blink Twice Channing Tatum's character Slater King said 'forgetting is a gift".  This made me think a lot about all of the times men in my life and even to this day are s till playing this same card.  It is a crazy perspective to have yet has this not been the male perspective for so long.  Freaking Centuries! I'm talkin ANCIENT CIVILIZATIONS Long!!  My first example of this is when men cheat on their significant others how they are asked to forgive and forget!!! To be honest some women would rather forget and just sweep it under the rug and act like it doesn't happen to keep the peace, keep the money, or keep the status, or the one that really annoys me the most to appear and seem easy or cool.  Fuck that! This type of behavior is a big way for men to lose respect for women in general.  A lot of times we are so surprised at the way men treat us but sometimes when men have been given passes so much or allowed to disrespect women f...
